***Please note: Cozy Bay is a small, quiet FAMILY resort. We want everyone to have fun and enjoy their stay with us, however, please keep in mind that any loud and/or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Quiet time is 10:00 pm-8:00 am.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES:

CABINS: Check in is 4:00pm, check out is 10:00am

RV CAMPERS: Check in is 1:30pm, check out is 11:30am

DEPOSITS: A deposit of 50% down is due to reserve your cabin or RV Site with the remaining amount due at the time of your visit. We do accept checks and cash during your visit (there is a transaction fee of up to 4% for credit and debit card purchases).

CANCELATIONS/REFUNDS: Your vacation has been especially reserved for you. Due to our small size and seasonal nature, we are greatly affected by cancellations and no-shows; thus, you are responsible for the entirety of your stay (we cannot offer refunds or credits for late arrivals/early departures), this includes boat/pontoon rentals.

We do however understand that things happen. In the event you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible and we will make every attempt to re-book your reservation. In the event we are able to re-book, you will receive a full refund less a $100 admin fee. For cancelations within 60 days of your visit, we do reserve the right to offer discounts to get your cabin re-booked. In the case your cabin is rebooked with a discount, you will recive a full refund less both the discounted amount and a $100 admin fee.

OUR STORE:

***all credit/debit card purchases will incur a transaction fee of up to 4%, cash and check payments are accepted as well.

We do have a small store where you can purchase items such as…

-Limited gocery items and toiletries

-Pop, candy, and icecream

-Hoodies, T’s, tanks, hats, jackets

-Ice

-Bait/tackle

-Firewood

-Giovanni’s Pizza

RECREATION:

-Free use of kayaks and paddle boats on a first come, first serve basis. ***Minnesota state law requires that life jackets must be worn.

-We also have a lilly pad in the swim area and a basketball court out back. Our lodge is open for pool, fooseball, and table tennis. Board games, books, puzzles and DVDs are available as well.

-Karaoke is available in the lodge on Tuesday nights at 8pm, June through August ***upon request.

DAYTIME VISITORS: Visiting Hours are 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Our daily guest fee for CABIN guests is $15/adult or $10/children. 3 years and under are free. Our daily guest fee for RV SITE guests is $8/person. 3 years and under are free (all guests must check in at front desk).

We reserve the right to limit the number of daily visitors exceeding a unit’s rated capacity. Please inform us in advance if you expect visitors. Due to Minnesota state laws, all visitors are required to register at the lodge front desk before proceeding to units. By law, we must record all guests on the premises in case of emergencies or disasters. Any visitors not registered will be asked to leave the property immediately.

ADDITIONAL OVERNIGHT PERSONS:

CABIN rates include the number of people stated for each cabin. Some cabins do have a higher max occupancy with additional bedspace, or in some cases you would need to bring an air matress/cot and bedding to accomodate (this will be stated in the description). An additional person charge of $25/night or $125/week will be applied for each additional person beyond the number included in the base rate.

***Children 3 and under are free and do not count toward capacity, however please make sure you consider them in your sleeping arrangements.

RV CAMPING rates include up to 4 people with a max occupancy of 8 people per site. Extra RV campers are $12/night or $60/week. Children 3 and under are free and do not count toward capacity.

LINENS: We do not provide any bathroom or beach towels. Bedding is provided in all of our cabins. Twin Beds will be provided with 1 pillow, queen and full beds will be provided with 2 pillows each. All beds will be made with sheets/pillows and cases. A fleece blanket is included unless you have a pet in your cabin.

Any cabins that will have a pet will have to provide their own bed blankets for their entire cabin.

Don’t forget blankets for your pets if they will be on furniture as well (be sure to see PET POLICY for additional pet requirements).

RENTALS: We have one pontoon and one fishing boat available on a first come first serve basis, we highly recommend booking sooner rather than later with the limited availability. We also have two boat lifts available for rent. Each cabin includes a boat slip at no extra cost.

GRILLING: We have a central grilling area in front of the lodge with 2 large propane grills. You are welcomed to bring your own personal grills but they must be not be used in grassy areas.

CAMPFIRES: Each cabin has its own fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase at the lodge for $12/wheelborrow. Be sure to bring your own kindling/firestarters.

FISH CLEANING: We do have a fish cleaning house available for use (between cabins 6,7, & 8). DO NOT clean fish in your cabin. Please be sure to clean up after yourself.

PETS: Pets are allowed under strict requirements, please see our pet policy below.

LAUNDRY: There is no available laundry facility on site. There is a laundromat located 2 miles south of the resort in Merrifield.

SMOKING: No smoking or vaping allowed in any building or cabins

PET POLICY:

WE LOVE PETS! Pets are allowed but we do have strict policies for the safetly and well-being of both our two and four legged guests. WELL-TRAINED pets are CURRENTLY allowed in ALL cabins. With that being said, we also try our best to keep all our cabins clean and nicely decorated so have put in place the following policies….

Pet Fees: $25/day or $125/week per pet

-All pets must be checked in upon arrival, a $250 fee will be charged per non-registered pet to the person booking the cabin along with the daily or weekly pet fee, any pet damages, and any applicable pet clean-up fees. It is YOUR responsibilty to pass this information on to anyone in your cabin who is bringing a pet and make sure all pets in your cabin are checked in.

-Owner of pet must provide credit card information at check-in in case of damages and sign a waiver/pet agreement.

– Pets must be clean, healthy, and free of fleas and ticks. We strongly recommend a quality flea and tick preventative from your vet.

-NO pets over 65 lbs.

-Must submit proof of rabies vaccine prior to visit.

-All pets MUST be crated/kenneled when left alone in your cabin.

NO Puppies ALLOWED, ALL pets must be fully trained. Pets that have destructive or agressive behaviors, bark excessively, or do not tolerate being crated/kenneled are NOT ALLOWED.

-Any cabins that will have pets must bring BLANKETS (We will still provide sheets, pillows & cases) for ALL the beds in that cabin. We also ask that you bring blankets to cover any furniture your pet might lay on. If at all possible we strongly prefer your pet have a bed for the floor and not be allowed on furniture.

Pets MUST be leashed at ALL times and cleaned up after both in and out of your cabins, no exceptions. There will be extra charges charged to the owner if we have to do it.
